Forward Church Family, we want to make you aware of an upcoming Bible study opportunity in our area this summer. Consider joining the Perspectives Class being held at the Southeast Christian Church Indiana Campus. This is a 15 week course from August 15 – December 5, meeting Thursday nights from 6pm-9pm.
Here is a brief description:
“Perspectives is a fifteen-lesson discipleship course exploring different aspects of God’s global purpose in a multi-faceted learning experience. The course examines the story of God fulfilling His promises from four vantage points or “perspectives” — Biblical, Historical, Cultural, and Strategic.”

Donations have been dropped off! A BIG THANK YOU to all who donated to help Hope Southern Indiana’s “PACK THE BUS”. Your generosity does not go unnoticed. Continue to look for more ways we will be helping those in our community in the future.
Our next Breakaway meal will be Sunday, July 7th at 6pm. We will need around 4-5 women to help provide a meal and come out to visit with the women in the Breakaway home for a couple of hours. This is a great opportunity to serve the ladies literally in our backyard.

The Propel ministry will be breaking from gathering at the church on Wednesday evenings for a few weeks. However, there are lots of fun events planned for the summer! Middle & HS students, invite your friends and come out to one of these events.

Ladies, you are invited to an upcoming Bible study. This study will meet every other Monday evening from 6-8pm beginning August 5th in the home of Tonia Hatfield. The study is God of Deliverance: A Study of Exodus 1-18 by Jen Wilkin. Reach out to Tonia at Hatfield912@gmail.com if you would like to join or have any questions.
Sunday School class is open to all and is a great way to connect! We are beginning chapter studies in Psalms and Proverbs. Psalm 1 tells us there is a blessing for those who delight and meditate on God’s Word. Join us as we study, delight and meditate on God’s life changing Word. We gather Sundays from 9-10am in the classroom behind the Worship Center.
All men of Forward are invited to join in Tuesday mornings for Bible study. Meeting at Coffee Crossing in downtown New Albany from 7:00-8:00am, the men will be studying through the book of Proverbs.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
