All young adults ages 18-29 years old (single or married) are welcome to attend our on-going Merge gatherings. We meet every other Monday evening from 6:30-9PM at the church. Dinner is at 6:30PM. Our large group time begins at 7PM. We are going through the Bible in a year using the Bible Recap plan.

The Propel ministry will be breaking from gathering at the church on Wednesday evenings for a few weeks. However, there are lots of fun events planned for the summer! Middle & HS students, invite your friends and come out to one of these events.
Forward Church Family, we have 2 more Sundays to bring in supplies for “Pack the Bus”. This is a collaboration with local churches, businesses, and individuals to provide basic school supplies to those New Albany-Floyd County School students who cannot afford them.
We are collecting the following items below. We have provided a bin in the coffee area for your donations. The deadline for bringing in supplies is Sunday, June 23rd. Thank you in advance for being a blessing to those in our community!

Ladies, our upcoming Progressive Dinner is coming up quickly, so mark your calendars! You are not going to want to miss this fun event!!
For our progressive dinner we will be eating each course of a meal at different ladies homes from our church, which will all be a surprise! The meal will begin at Forward Church at 4:30pm with appetizers. From there, we will carpool in groups to the next home for salad, then the next home for the main course, and finishing off at the final home for desserts.

Our next Breakaway meal will be Sunday, July 7th at 6pm. We will need around 4-5 women to help provide a meal and come out to visit with the women in the Breakaway home for a couple of hours. This is a great opportunity to serve the ladies literally in our backyard.

The Women of Forward Fall Retreat will be Thursday, Nov. 7th to Saturday, Nov. 9th. We will be staying at the Abe Martin Lodge in Brown County State Park. There is a $50 down payment with registration, with full payment due by September 22nd. You can click on the link below to get registered.
Also, don’t forget to get signed up for a room a the the Welcome Desk this weekend. We have choices of 2 or 4 person rooms. 4 person rooms are $175 and 2 person rooms are $255. This price includes 4 meals.

Sunday School class is open to all and is a great way to connect! We are beginning chapter studies in Psalms and Proverbs. Psalm 1 tells us there is a blessing for those who delight and meditate on God’s Word. Join us as we study, delight and meditate on God’s life changing Word. We gather Sundays from 9-10am in the classroom behind the Worship Center.
All men of Forward are invited to join in Tuesday mornings for Bible study. Meeting at Coffee Crossing in downtown New Albany from 7:00-8:00am, the men will be studying through the book of Proverbs.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
