Women of Forward, mark your calendars for our upcoming Progressive Dinner on Saturday, June 29th. What is a progressive dinner you ask?
- a social occasion at which the different courses of a meal are eaten at different people’s houses.
We will begin at Forward Church at 4:30pm with appetizers. From there, we will carpool in groups to different ladies’ homes that will be participating. If you would like to attend, please sign up this weekend at the Welcome Desk.

“Pack the Bus” is a collaboration with local churches, businesses, and individuals to provide basic school supplies to those New Albany-Floyd County School students who cannot afford them. Through this program, Hope Southern Indiana was able to give over 30,000 school supplies to local schools last year!
This year, our Forward church family will be joining in this initiative to help provide supplies for more than 2,000 students. We will be collecting the following items below. We have provided a bin in the coffee area for your donations. The deadline for bringing in supplies is Sunday, June 23rd.

Sunday School class is open to all and is a great way to connect! We are beginning chapter studies in Psalms and Proverbs. Psalm 1 tells us there is a blessing for those who delight and meditate on God’s Word. Join us as we study, delight and meditate on God’s life changing Word. We gather Sundays from 9-10am in the classroom behind the Worship Center.
THIS MONDAY, June 3rd!!
All young adults ages 18-29 years old (single or married) are welcome to attend our on-going Merge gatherings. We meet every other Monday evening from 6:30-9PM at the church. Dinner is at 6:30PM. Our large group time begins at 7PM. We are going through the Bible in a year using the Bible Recap plan.

All men of Forward are invited to join in Tuesday mornings for Bible study. Meeting at Coffee Crossing in downtown New Albany from 7:00-8:00am, the men will be studying through the book of Proverbs.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
