Next Saturday, December 14th, is our Stellar Christmas Celebration, so make plans to join us at 2pm here at the church.
Families who experience Stellar Christmas will hear the story of Christmas retold by members of the starry host who were twinkling away the night Jesus was born. Plus, they’ll sing along to songs, including classic Christmas carols, as they join with the starry host to celebrate Jesus’ birth. Kids of all ages will learn to shine their light for Jesus not only this Christmas, but in every area of life. Be ready for lots of merry music and memorable moments as we celebrate Jesus—the Light of the world!

Men of Forward, the 2-day Men’s conference will be at the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY, March 21st-22nd; or plan to come up an extra day early on March 20th to visit the Ark.
We need to go ahead and order our tickets before the end of the year, so if you’ve been considering going, we are asking for you to please get signed up and a $50 deposit will be due by Sunday, Dec. 29th.

Registration is now open for the Belize trip. We are asking for anyone interested to go ahead and get signed up now. The trip is June 21-27th. Also, if interested, please go ahead and start the process of getting your passport. A $200 deposit for the trip will be due by January 5th.
Reminder, this trip is for the whole family. We will have opportunities for men, women and children to serve the people in Belize by helping with construction projects, Bible studies, and VBS events. Forward Church Family, you can support those going on the trip by participating in future fundraisers. Be looking for more information on fundraisers coming soon.

We want to remind you of the opportunity to give your year-end giving to our Friends Forever Fund.
This year our fund will go towards debt reduction on our mortgage and three different ministries. We will have another Meal Packing event in February with Mission of Hope. Through this ministry we will be providing 40,000 meals to feed hungry children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. We will also be sending a donation to Choices Life Resource Center here in our community to help in saving babies lives in the womb. And finally, we will be sending a donation to an organization named The Seed Co. The Seed Co. is a Bible translation organization that is getting the Bible translated into languages where the Bible is not currently available.
Our 2024 goal is $185,000, so please begin praying about how much the Lord will prompt you to generously give this year. We will take our FFF offering on Sunday, Dec. 22nd.
Each month we are honored to serve the ladies at the Breakaway House, which is located just down the road from Forward Church. Volunteers from our church provide a meal and visit for a couple of hours with the ladies that live there. Women of Forward, helping with Breakaway meals is a great way you can get involved in the community. Typically we need 4-5 women to serve.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
