Forward Church Family, we have a new study beginning Sunday, January 7th!! We will begin an 8-week verse by verse study, focusing on the 7 churches of Revelation found in chapters 1-3. We’ll be studying the characteristics of each church and how it applies to us today.
If you’ve never attended our Sunday School Class, now is the time to jump in! You will be blessed by sound Biblical teaching. This is one more way you can connect with others in the church. It’s also a great way to prepare your heart before our worship services on Sundays. Class begins at 9am and is open to all!

New Women’s Bible study beginning Monday, January 8th! Women of Forward, if you are looking to connect to other ladies in the church, jump in to this new Bible study! This next study will be Jen Wilkin’s, God of Covenant: A Study of Genesis 12-50. This is a 10-week study meeting in the home of Tonia Hatfield. The ladies will meet every other Monday.

Reminder, the Gingerbread Bash is THIS Thursday, December 7th from 7:00-8:30pm!! This is geared to families with children, but all are welcome to attend. Come out to celebrate with us the true meaning of Christmas. We will make gingerbread nativities, listen to the Christmas story and sing Christmas songs. Don’t forget to sign up at the Welcome Desk this Sunday, so that we can make sure we have enough supplies. See you there!
We will be having a special forKids Christmas Handbell Choir performance at our Christmas service on Sunday, December 24th. Parents, you can sign your children up this weekend at the Welcome Desk. This is for all children ages 4yrs old through 5th grade. Practice dates will be Sunday, December 10th & 24th immediately following the services. Our MERGE ministry meets every other Monday evening of the month. We eat a meal together, connect through small and large group time, and grow our faith by hearing God-centered devotions taught by Forward leaders. The goal is to encourage you and help you navigate life by seeing every situation through a Biblical worldview.
Next gathering Monday, December 4th at the Burdsall’s home. We will also be having our Christmas party, Monday, December 18th at the church. All young adults welcome!! More details to come.

Friends Forever Fund
- Goal is to raise $125,000
- We have already set aside $75,000 toward the new roof cost of approx: $200,000.
- $10,000 will be used to pack and provide 28,751 meals for the hungry through Mission of Hope.
- We will have a year end gift offering during our Christmas Eve Service for the Friends Forever Fund.
- Anything above the $125,000 goal will be added to the Chest of Joash account for future building repairs and upgrades.
- Beginning in January of 2024, 100% of all money donated to the Friends Forever Fund will continue to pay down our mortgage debt.
- Donations can be made year round to FFF for the reduction of our mortgage.
- Donations can be made year round to the Chest of Joash fund to help with building repairs and upgrades.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
