ForKids families, we are having a special kids choir performance on Sunday, November 5th! This is for our ForKids children ages 4 years old through 5th grade. Rehearsals will be on Sunday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 29th immediately following the church service in the Propel room. Sign up today at the Welcome Desk.
It’s not too late to join our Women’s Bible study at the church called “Knowing God by Name”. This group will meet Thursdays from 6:00-7:30pm for 7 weeks.
Study description: In Knowing God by Name: A Personal Encounter, author Mary Kassian focuses on 35 Hebrew names of God that describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose. As you learn the significance of each ancient word, you’ll be awestruck by the Lord’s magnificence and your heart compelled to worship and praise Him.

MERGE is for anyone ages of 18-29 yrs old. So if you are looking for connection and community, then this group if for you. Our MERGE ministry meets every other Monday evening of the month. We eat a meal together and have a devotion time taught by Forward leaders. The goal is to encourage you and help you navigate life by seeing every situation through a Biblical worldview.
Our next meeting is Monday, Oct. 9th, 6:30-9pm.

Our next House of Prayer night will be Thursday, October 12th from 7-8:30pm.
This is a relaxed atmosphere. Simply show up to the church building and you will be guided in simple ways to pray. It’s so easy even kids can participate, so bring the whole family.

Fortify is a men’s prayer group that meets Monday evenings at 6:30pm at the church. Men of Forward feel free to join in any Monday night!
Currently we are studying “The Weight of Your Words” based on a book by Joseph Stowell. This study equips believers to honor God with our language.

Ladies of Forward, we have some lovely neighbors at The BreakAway. There are about 16 ladies living there and we want them to feel welcomed to come to worship with us at Forward (they live just a block away). To get to know them better, we are providing a meal and eating with them on the 4th Sunday of each month at 6pm.
We will have a special holiday meal in early December for the ladies.
There is a sign up sheet at the Welcome Center for about 4 ladies each month to put together a meal to take and share! For questions text or call Tonia Hatfield 502-724-6395.
Class meets every Sunday morning from 9-10:00 am. We are studying verse by verse through the book of 2 Peter.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
