MERGE Young Adults, our next gathering will be THIS SUNDAY, (Sept. 24th) right after church at the Davidson’s home in Charlestown. This will be a LUNCH & GAME DAY. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS OR ANYONE INTERESTED!! They do not have to be a member of Forward Church.

MERGE is for anyone ages of 18-29 yrs old. So if you are looking for connection and community, then this group or you. Our MERGE ministry meets every other Monday evening of the month. We eat a meal together and have a devotion time taught by Forward leaders. The goal is to encourage you and help you navigate life by seeing every situation through a Biblical worldview.

Men of Forward – all men ages 18 and up will not want to miss the upcoming Mens Conference. This will be a critical time of learning from Scripture the kind of man that God desires us to be. Strong men of God lead to stronger families, which lead to a stronger local church, which leads to a stronger impact for Christ in our community and world.

Our next House of Prayer night will be Thursday, October 12th from 7-8:30pm.
This is a relaxed atmosphere. Simply show up to the church building and you will be guided in simple ways to pray. It’s so easy even kids can participate, so bring the whole family.

Fortify is a men’s prayer group that meets Monday evenings at 6:30pm at the church. Men of Forward feel free to join in any Monday night!
Currently we are studying “The Weight of Your Words” based on a book by Joseph Stowell. This study equips believers to honor God with our language.

Men of Forward Tuesday morning Bible Study. Meeting at Coffee Crossing in downtown New Albany from 7:00-8:00 and studying through the books of 1 Timothy & 2 Timothy. Join them any Tuesday morning.

Ladies of Forward, we have some lovely neighbors at The BreakAway. There are about 16 ladies living there and we want them to feel welcomed to come to worship with us at Forward (they live just a block away). To get to know them better, we are providing a meal and eating with them on the 4th Sunday of each month at 6pm.
** Note: The September BreakAway meal is cancelled due to the Women’s Retreat. The October meal will be 10/29 (rescheduled due to Mission trip).
We will also have a special holiday meal in early December for the ladies, so check back for more info!

Class meets every Sunday morning from 9-10:00 am. We are studying verse by verse through the book of 2 Peter.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
