Women of Forward, our Fall Retreat is quickly approaching! This year’s theme is “Worship”. We are so excited to dive deeper into all that means to worship our Holy God!

We are partnering with CrossRoads Mission for a mission trip to Eastern Kentucky this fall. Eastern Kentucky has experienced record flooding the last three years and there is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people by reaching out with the love of Christ.
The trip will be October 18-21 with a cost of $250/person. The cost will include lodging, food and project money. Registration will close next Sunday, August 27th.

Reminder to mark your calendar for our next Night of Prayer, Thursday, September 11th. At Forward Church we believe in the power of united prayer and so we dedicate this time each month to gather as a church family, seeking all Lord has for us.
This is a relaxed atmosphere. Simply show up to the church building and you will be guided in simple ways to pray. It’s so easy even kids can participate, so bring the whole family.
*Note: childcare is not provided.
Fortify is a men’s prayer group that meets Monday nights at 6:30 at the church. Join them any Monday night as they pray for our church, leadership, members, and each other.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
