Reminder in case you missed it, Merge will be focused on connecting our young adults with God and in community with each other. We will enjoy a meal together, celebrate how we see God in our daily lives, have a Bible devotion time, small group breakout and hang out time with games and lots of fun!

Women if you signed up to attend the Fall Women’s Retreat, we hope you’re getting excited for an amazing time of growing in your faith and fellowship with other women in the church!

We currently have proposed room set ups that you can check out at the Welcome Center this Sunday. The trip cost is going to be $110 with payments due by August 20th. Payment arrangements are available. Contact Lisa at #502-338-8675 with any questions.
We are partnering with CrossRoads Mission for a mission trip to Eastern Kentucky this fall. Eastern Kentucky has experienced record flooding the last three years and there is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people by reaching out with the love of Christ.
The trip will be October 18-21 with a cost of $250/person. The cost will include lodging, food and project money. If you are interested in going on this trip please sign up at the Welcome Center.

At Forward we believe that by making prayer a priority of the Church, we will see the power of God at work. Each month we are committing to open the building as a time set aside to seek the Lord. All you need to do is come with hearts ready to pray.
Families are welcome to pray together as there will not be childcare.
The playground will be closed as this is a focused and dedicated time of prayer.

Fortify is a men’s prayer group that meets Monday nights at 6:30 at the church. Join them any Monday night as they pray for our church, leadership, members, and each other.

Men of Forward Tuesday morning Bible Study. Meeting at Coffee Crossing in downtown New Albany from 7:00-8:00 and studying through the book of James. Join them any Tuesday morning.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
